Session Description:

The implementation of a sound performance measurement and evaluation system has been one of the key challenges faced by organizations worldwide.  This Session will review tools and techniques to diagnose organizational readiness and then outline a step by step process to systematically implement performance measurement and evaluation.

  • This Session will help you to understand key areas of performance measurement and evaluation readiness.
  • It will draw upon approaches to integrated performance measurement and evaluation from the World Bank, the UN, Canadian guides, Results & Delivery and Balanced Scorecard proponents to distil the most appropriate elements for Canadian public service use.

  • This Session is designed for Federal Government program officers, policy analysts, results and delivery unit staff, executives, managers and those working in audit, performance planning, measurement and program evaluation.

  • Apply a step-by-step approach – distilled from good worldwide practice – for use in Canadian Federal Government organizations.
  • Understand how to run key processes in support of implementation.
